Block 40 is a 20 story high rise project that includes 170 residential apartments, 400 space parking garage, a 103 room Hilton Garden Inn, Restaurants, and Retail Space.
What makes this project unique is the preservation and Historical Restoration of the Great Southern Hotel that was built in 1924. Three facades of the Great Southern Hotel are being restored to their original conditions mixing 21st Century Architecture with the details of the 1920’s.
The Pre-Construction phase of this project has been completed. The General Contractor has mobilized, started demolition, off-site infrastructure, and the auger cast pile scopes.
